Rules for using TradeCasa

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using TradeCasa, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Community and Review Guidelines. Use the service only if you are at least 18 and can enter agreements. If you use TradeCasa for a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so. The pilot currently focuses on the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. area.

What TradeCasa does

TradeCasa helps homeowners make project briefs and connect with independent professionals, dealers, and suppliers. It offers project coordination, listings, reviews, and optional AI planning. TradeCasa is not the contractor, designer, architect, engineer, employment agency, lender, insurer, permit authority, or seller of materials in a transaction between users. A brief, suggested trade, profile, rating, proposal, quote, or AI output is not a contract, professional advice, code determination, guarantee, or price commitment. Any scope, schedule, payment, warranty, licensing, and contract terms must be agreed directly by the parties. TradeCasa does not collect project payments in the current workflow.

Accounts and accurate information

Keep login and recovery information private, use an email address you control, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized account use. Provide accurate project and business information. Professionals must have authority to offer their services, keep required licenses and insurance current, and promptly update material changes. Approval or a badge reflects a review of submitted evidence at a point in time; it is not a continuing guarantee of skill, legal compliance, availability, or project outcome. Homeowners should independently confirm credentials, references, permits, insurance, and contract terms before hiring.

Projects and sharing

You control when to submit and share a brief or request an introduction. Certain shared content becomes visible to accepted professionals and project team members, as described in the interface. When you upload content, you represent that you have the right to do so and grant TradeCasa a nonexclusive license to store, display, process, and share it as needed to provide the service. You retain ownership. Do not upload confidential third-party information without permission. Archiving removes future platform access for professionals but does not retract information they already obtained. Portfolio use of a completed project requires the homeowner’s separate permission in the platform.

Listings, reviews, and conduct

Jobs and application instructions are supplied by posting businesses; TradeCasa does not employ applicants or promise hiring. Suppliers and professionals remain responsible for their own prices, deliveries, work, warranties, and legal obligations. Reviews must follow the Community and Review Guidelines. We may review, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these terms, threaten safety, mislead others, or impair the service. You may not scrape, automate abusive access, impersonate others, post fraudulent offers, or use the platform unlawfully.

Founding 50 professional offer

Founding applications open September 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern and close October 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern, or sooner if all 50 places are filled. The first 50 approved, eligible professional businesses that opt in during this window may receive a Founding 50 place. Applications received by the deadline may be reviewed after it; submitting an application or creating an account does not reserve a place. TradeCasa checks the business or service location in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, D.C., reviews credentials, and excludes duplicate businesses and demonstration accounts. A place is assigned after approval; the 90-day free period starts only when the approved professional publishes and activates a completed profile.

The founding annual rate is $299 per year after the free period, while the qualifying membership remains continuously active. No payment details are collected during application, and no charge occurs during the 90-day free period. Before collecting any annual payment, TradeCasa will provide a payment option and ask you to authorize it. If that option is unavailable when the trial ends, no automatic charge or debt is created. Declining a future paid renewal or canceling ends the founding rate lock; a later application may be subject to then-current terms. TradeCasa does not guarantee leads, introductions, jobs, or revenue.

Availability and responsibility

The pilot may change, pause, or end, and features may be unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or a particular project result. TradeCasa is not responsible for independent parties’ work, hiring decisions, products, payments, or statements. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived. We may update these Terms as the service evolves; material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the account. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect indicates acceptance.
