Yes. The planner, directory, saved projects, and professional pilot require a TradeCasa account. You can also continue using ChatGPT sign-in if you previously used it. The public website remains open to everyone.
How can I reset my password?
When you create a TradeCasa account, save the recovery code shown once. Use it on the password reset page if you forget your password. When email delivery is active, you can request a one-time reset link. Your saved recovery code also works.
Is AI required to make a project brief?
No. You can continue without AI. If you opt in, the AI assistant uses your project details and answers to draft a brief. You review and edit the result.
What does the AI receive?
When you choose AI planning, the project details and answers you provide for the brief are sent to OpenAI. Contact details are left out of that request. Do not include personal contact information in your project description.
Does TradeCasa send my details to professionals automatically?
No. You review your brief before submitting it to the pilot. A trade receives your project brief only when you request an introduction after review. Contact details are shared if the trade accepts.
Are the directory listings real or verified?
The sample directory is illustrative. Approved trades can choose to publish a real profile alongside it. TradeCasa records identity, licensing and insurance checks before new approvals. Confirm current credentials, reviews and availability directly before hiring.
Where is the pilot available?
The pilot focuses on Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Coverage outside the listed D.C. metro areas may need further review.
How will I know about a new request or reply?
Sign in and check Activity or the Pilot hub. TradeCasa shows new introduction requests, replies, and review updates in your account. Email alerts are not available in this pilot.
Can I change my project brief?
Yes, until you request an introduction. A revised brief returns to TradeCasa review. Once shared, discuss changes with the trade in the project question thread or after connecting.
Where are my drafts saved?
Planner drafts and shortlists are saved in this browser for the signed-in account. Pilot submissions and professional applications are saved to the account and can be viewed in the pilot hub.
How do trade professionals participate?
Professionals can sign in and submit an application describing their business, services, coverage, and availability. Applications are reviewed; approval does not automatically publish a profile or guarantee opportunities. An approved trade can choose to publish its profile and accept introduction requests.
